Trust boundaries

  1. 01Key creation, on device

Your recovery phrase and wallet keys are generated in your browser. The wallet stores your phrase encrypted when you set up device unlock.

  2. 02Signing, localLocal signing example

Supported transactions are built and signed on your device. The relay broadcasts the signed transaction; it does not receive your spending keys.

  3. 03Email or phone, not required

You do not need an email address or phone number to create a wallet. A connected wallet still uses a public-key-derived identifier and a device session with the relay.

  4. 04Network data, shared

A relay connection carries network requests and signed transactions. The current Bitcoin integration also reports matched incoming outputs. Local keys do not make network activity invisible.

  5. 05Recovery, user controlled

Store your recovery phrase somewhere safe. A PIN unlocks this browser; an optional passkey can protect an encrypted backup. ColdHarbor cannot reset a lost recovery phrase for you.

✦ Passage 04

North AtlanticPassage

Your wallet signs. The relay connects.
The network confirms.

Your wallet builds and signs on your device. The relay fetches chain data and submits signed transactions. The network validates them and includes them in blocks.

The relay carries requests.
Your wallet keeps the keys.

The relay receives connection and transaction data, including incoming Bitcoin outputs reported by the wallet.

Submitted does not mean confirmed. The wallet waits for the network to report payment status.
